Perhaps just some are more sensitive to it? I'm not sure. There is exhaust sound, you hear it, the exhaust, for sure (!), but I don't call that
drone. I don't consider the Meisterschaft throaty enough for drone. IMO anyway.
Honestly, its VERY comfortable, really at any speed/rpm, freeway or around town. No effort to carry on conversation. I don't think I've ever had a single passenger complaint. They've commented on the sound, it being quite loud, but never bothersome. Nothing that makes your head hurt after driving for an hour. I now wish I would have taken an interior video to show off.
