My wife bought me this as a gift, too, a couple years ago! Man, was it a blast! Got to have a go in a 458, a Lambo Gallardo and a 911. I ran those suckers as fast as I could. They'll let you go for it, BUT you'll have an "instructor", and he has a brake--like in HS driver's ed!
We went over to Charlotte for mine, and drove on the inside of the oval on the road track they have there. It was a really, really good time, and one of my most memorable birthdays ever!
