Question Rear window trim scratching tint

I'm getting my E90's windows tinted right now. The installer (Umbra in Schaumburg, IL) has said that sometimes the trim on BMWs can scratch tint because it only has the felt on one side. For the front doors, he adds a strip of felt to prevent it.

However, since I have the sunshades on the rear doors, he isn't sure how those come apart versus a normal E90 and didn't want to risk breaking anything. He said if I get someone to remove the door panels, he'll add the felt on at no charge.

Do the sunshade-equipped rear door panels come off a different way? Is there something I can show/tell him right now? I located a DIY on another site, but there's no mention of the sunshades.
