Not like enabling transport mode at all. You could take a car programmed with this tune to the dealer, and have them disable transport mode, and it would do nothing at all. This is actually reprograming the limit in the ECU itself, not a preprogrammed delivery mode.
I drove the car hard and hit the 4,500 limiter all the time. It's still a fast car but it's a completely different animal with this limit. This is 2,000 RPM lower than the stock limit when the car is completely cold. The 4,500 limit gets old fast, and I found it to be sufficient limit. This would also prevent any clutch dropping or launching as well with the lower freestanding limit. As I said I'm open to suggestions
If someone requests that it be set at 2,000 RPM, I can do that too.
And yeah... boost?
