I only owned it for 6 months but had zero problems with it. I have heard many more good things about the 7.3. I had the very last year of the 6.0 where most of the problems had been worked out. I had straight pipe exhaust and it souded sick. Definitely more a fan of the refined classy BMW though.
One side note. They lose value quickly, especially in this economy. I thought having the diesel and its configuration would hold value. I quickly found how fast something that gets that mileage can lose its value.
