I currently have the AiB v3.0 on the car, i've figured that i will have harder time selling it since it's the older version, so i am keeping it and selling the v4.0 instead. The lux is a bit brighter than mine when i compared it with my friend's car. Now the v4.0 is the latest/ updated version and it has upgraded ballast and higher light output compared to the v3.0. It's also easier to installl than the older version.
So if it is not brighter i would assume it must be equally as bright or about same as the lux kit.
