You should have tried a 997 gts. Those care are being discounted majorly and have amazing steering feel and engine noise. They can also be driven comfortably on a daily basis. The buckets in the cayman r are not very comfortable but I agree with you about how responsive the engine is and I also agree about the manual transmission in that car, one of the best I've ever experienced. The handling of the cayman r is amazing, there's no doubt about that, however the 911 gts provides better steering feel, way better seats, more power and more entertaining handling. Plus it looks a helluva lot better than the cayman. You can't go wrong with the cayman r though it really is a fantastic car. The best handling, best driers car I've personally have ever experienced but I wanted something I can use comfortably every day not just on the weekend.
