+1 By the first half of 2008, worldwide BMW sold
116,919 1ers. From 2005 to the same period, BMW sold
1,002,052 E90 3ers. I'm not really good at math but it looks like there are ten times as many 3ers as 1ers. Now, figure the fact that ONLY coupe 1er models are sold in the US, had been available for ONLY 4 months, and that BMW's 2008 sales target for the 1er was 10,000 units, I'd say your odds of seeing a 3 series on any given day are at LEAST 20x that of a 1 series, more likely closer to 100x.
