HAHAHA, operative word there, MOVIES! Yeah sure there may be some spots I'd rather not drive my M3 through, let alone at night, but I rarely if ever have been concerned for my safety when I drive. Albeit I rarely drive in super sketchy areas, but still, I like how you compare our streets/crime to what you see in the movies.
