Mine can squeal pretty loud after they get some heat into them in daily driving. I left mine on from end of August to beginning of October between 2 track events and it was borderline ok. Some days better, some days worse. Not sure how much it matters, but I am on stock brakes so the pads have the OEM-style clips and I am pretty generous with the anti-squeak compound paste.
Rotor wear is minimal so that's not an issue, but personally could not use the yellows for long term daily driving.
