DCT and Park Brake

Still don't have my car yet...but went to the dealer yesterday and they let me drive one a again(bad decision...only going to make the wait worse). So I really got to drive it like it was mine and got to test out everything. Luckily there was an ipod adapter in there so I got to try out the sound system...amazing!!!!

I love the DCT...its really not a true automatic. I love that rev you get in first gear before it takes off. And I noticed since it isn't a real auto, you go to be careful about how it rolls back and everything.
So my question is, do you have to use the park break like you would a manual, or after you shut the car off does it go into a true park mode? Because I notice when you open the door how it says P.
