@raging clue, i just put together my rig a couple months ago

i7 980x, 8gb ram, ati5970, SSD for OS and a few other hardrives for the other stuff. all that and its already outdated LOL.

wait a couple of months if you can, intel has the new sandybridge processors coming out, there was a defect in the first batch but they have already done a recall and fixed the issue so when the next batch comes it should be perfect...

If ever there was a time to get into PC gaming it is now, I would suggest building a rig in several months (as we get closer to the release of BF3, Skyrim, Deus Ex 3, etc).

If you are also into The Elder Scrolls series then you have no option but to build a gaming rig. Mods make TES games millions of times better (not exaggerating).
