Seems like the instructions are request power from the CAS, which would also have constant power. Either option is fine, the JBE module is simply easier to access.

So strange as I have the PSW v1 and tapped my Cig Lighter when I did the install.
Never had an issue with settings staying in memory.
Glad you guys solved your issue though
