I love the Carbon Leather trim in my new car. I'm actually blown away by it, maybe the biggest surprise of the car (until I get it broken in anyway

Does anyone know how it's produced. I don't want to sound stupid, but is it actually leather? is it embossed or woven strips? Anyone have an idea of how its produced?
I've searched but haven't found anything
