I tried to find a close up picture by doing a quick search, but I have not the time to look. This picture somewhat illustrates what I mean by the texture of Dakota. The Novillo is smooth, and lacks texture.

Thx for the info & pic even though I've seen/touched Dakota leather in a 3-series. I should have made my question more clear...I meant have u seen both Speed cloth/leather & Novillo leather at the
sametime not just see Speed cloth/leather one day & then see Novillo leather another day. At least we can conclude Speed cloth/leather isn't the same thing as Dakota leather then.
