The OEM remote signal is located at pin 13 in the Quadralock connector in the back of the iDrive computer. Just tap that line and run a wire to the trunk.

Awesome, Technic! I knew you'd be able to tell me exactly what I needed. This should be pretty straight forward. I saw your write-up on modifying the stock mounting locations to fit the SWS-8s. That's the only thing I'm worried about screwing up.
