I might just do it on my way to the track next time
There's a straight, 4 mile road before the track, there are sometimes cars on it, but rare (since I'm there early morning).
knock on wood, never seen a cop.
I'll find a spot :P
but why would you say the freeway is crazy? (if it was, somehow, by chance, COMPLETELY empty?)
