Let the differentiation come from four liters of snarling alloy V8 under the bonnet!
I think they have done quite a bit to make sure that it is unmistakebly an M3, although the overall shape is a bit subtle. For those who wanted more aggressive styling moves, look how the Lexus IS-F turned out.
