Aluminum has a melting point of 1200 degrees. If your powdercoater is getting your calipers that hot, something is wrong.
It has to do with the fact that the calipers need to be completely disassembled prior to powder coating. Pistons/seals need to be removed.

Brembos refinishing technique calls for paint, not powder coat. Not sure what stoptech recommends.
