These stainless X-Flow down pipes maintain superb exhaust flow by eliminating the secondary cats while maintaining the flow characteristics that an X-pipe provides. The included resonators help maintain exhaust volume by reducing unwanted noise. The scavenging effect generated by the RDSport X-Flow downpipe gives noticeable improvements in torque in the 3500-4500 RPM range.
The X-Flow is positioned at a specific distance from the exhaust valves so that the pulse from one group of cylinders will create a vacuum in the adjacent pipe, thus increasing the scavenging effect that delivers a more robust torque at a predetermined RPM range.
