In all seriousness though, this doesn't solve the problem. Real life situation; Girlfriend moved to new house back in MI, brought the two cats and 3 dogs (don't ask). Cat started shitting and pissing on the couch and corners in the basement. Litter boxes were perfectly fine. Moved food bowl, cat no longer pissed / shat there, it just went to a different corner to take a shat.

Not sure if it was from the move or what, but it was a recurring problem.

I started taking shats in the same corners, must have thought it was another cat because it started using the litter box. Don't tell my girlfriends mom though, she just thought her cat was eating more than usual.
