This morning, as I was in the right lane on Westheimer near Windsor St, a blue Honda Accord on my left decided to come into my lane, as we were rounding a particularly nasty curve. It was either swap paint, or go as far right as I could. Which meant clipping the right rear wheel on the concrete curb and mangling about 20% of the metal wheel.
I stopped by WheelCrafters (IMC) today and showed it. Quote is $137.50 and five hours.
To answer your question: they will give me a full-sized spare tomorrow so I can drive it out.
Pricey fix, but still far far less than a body-rub on the entire left side of my car! It is, though, the first damage to my car in 17,000 miles.
