I have the Hard Drive option so I dont know if thats a CCC system or CIC system.

Where can I buy these discs and What exactly do I need and need to do? I perfer not going back to BMW to do this as I have been told it is very easy to do myself and cheaper.

I am reading about FSC codes. What are they userd for?

If someone wants to explain this verbally I would be more than happy to reach out.

Thanks

The 3-DVD set costs about $10 or so at your local dealer, P/N 01990037287; you may receive 2 sets of DVD's, the 2011ii and the 2012 versions for the same price. The enabling codes (FSC) cost about $350 at your dealer.

Contact forum vendor BimmerTech for less expensive map FSC.

You can update your own maps if you get the FSC in a pdf document: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...23&postcount=3

There is no need of the dealer, but most probably they are going to tell you otherwise.
