Here is mine last year after I picked it up and then now, hanging in the garage.
Yes, the tape has been changed a couple of times; once after an accident. Not as fancy or nice as others but is a Cannondale SuperSix. As for events, no dedicated cycling but this bike has seen competitive action:

Will be down in Miami this November for the Miamiman Half IM Tri (might need to stop in and see the guys at Active

I do have a Trek 4300 MTB in the basement that I ride from time to time on the trails.
