OP, how about a cayenne diesel?

I like the interior of the cayenne much more than the other two. personally i would option a base cayenne diesel with black interior and 8speed auto and forgo allexpensive options such as air suspension, nav, sunroof, burmeister, pdcc, pasm, ptv, big 20-21" wheels, etc....really, you won't need them for a family hauler. I can't remember the last time I use Nav/sunroof driving around my city nor do I miss running over pot hole with low profile tires.

this way you may end up spending less money with the cayenne vs the x5/range rover and you will get yourself one hell of a handling SUV with fuel economy to boost. LOL
