You are correct but if you dont have the original box there is no way to tell because even the e90 still says e92 on the muffler, I went back and forth quite a few times on buying a used one and Nate at INdy says the only way to tell is by measuring the tip because they are all marked the same.
Only the shipping box has the 2H vs 3H part number
