And the bottom line is that even with all these mods, I still wouldn't be able to get 10c on the $. And with the F30 m3 coming out the price on our cars will drop another 10%... with all the miles i rack on mine, god, i'd be lucky to get $40k for when all is said and done....

I have spent maybe $9,000 on top of the purchase of the car. I have pretty much phased out of modding cars as I get older. I am only in my 30s but I reached as high as you can go with the mod bug in 2004-2005 when I was in numerous car magazines, tv preview, judge, and winning at car shows. Now I have other hobbies such as exotic weaponry, fiber night optics, etc.. Stuff that costs way above toys for this M3.
Modding this car or any car kinda bores me now. Owning a home and several nice vehicles also helps.
