There's actually been a lot posted on here about this. Gas is gas when it comes from the refineries, but the difference comes with the additive packages used by the various brands to keep things clean. Certain BMWs and other performance cars have had fuel system problems with low-quality gasolines; it's best to stick with gas that has the "Top Tier" designation. Not worth it to save 20-30 cents a gallon in filling up a $70,000 car when it could potentially be damaging to use poor-quality, cheap gas.
