GregW is correct. Only reason that PS2 is still around is that it is an OEM tire for many vehicles. And when you offer OEM equipment, then you have to offer it for like 7 years or something...

The RS3 is a really good dry traction tire, but you give up quite a bit for that traction, especially in the wet. But according to most tests, the PSS is on par with the RS3 in dry traction. Here are the results from the Car & Driver Monsters of Grip test:
