I don't think stainless lines are worth it, personally. I've never noticed a difference in pedal feel between stock and stainless on any car, and the only brake lines I've ever had issues with were a set of aftermarket stainless lines. OEM is perfectly fine (IMO).

If you don't want to go all out and go for a BBK, I think the stock brakes would be fine - they stop the car well enough. A decent set of performance pads wouldn't hurt though.
