My car's done 12,500 Kms and my rears are down to 3mm tread. The fronts still have around 5.5mm in them. I'm thinking it's time to replace the rears, but I'll keep the fronts going for a while longer.
Wait till you hear what the tyres cost here: Fronts: Approx. $720 each, Rears: Approx. $800 each!
