We've been speculating for months on this forum about whether the 1er will be available for below, at, or above MSRP when it first comes out.

This raises a question: what is the current status of M3 orders? I'm not trying to draw a direct comparison -- just curious. I expect demand for the new M3 to be very high, so are waiting lists huge already? Is the M3 community expecting dealer price gouging?

I know some people who will be buying the 1er could afford an M3 if they wanted to, so I wonder, too, about how the 135i is affecting M3 demand.
