All M3s have the subs under the front seats. The amplifier powering the subs and the actual subs themselves differ depending on if you got the enhanced premium sound system or not. I didn't get the premium sound but I upgraded those subs and installed a new amp and new speakers in the doors. If you want to listen to it one day, I'd be happy to demo it for you. I live in Mililani too right by the fire station.
