Sorry for the threadjack, OP. I still stand by my decision that if you want a cheap (money-wise) plastic gun, stick with XD or Glock. Sigs are nice too if you want to spend a little more $$$.

Ummm...Wilson, Dan and Les trump ESS. Besides, the ESS can only help you run away from your attacker faster; the three former will help you put said attacker 6ft under (assuming someone in the world loved said attacker enough to bury 'em)
