Intelligence and the ability to make money through buying and selling are not the equivalent of experience. If you had to have an operation and you could chose your surgeon, who would you chose? The one with one year of experience or the one with ten? Certain things, such as driving ability, improve with experience (the caveat being that there's a point where age will become a factor such that ability begins decreasing).
