Thats cuz you live in CA and the cops there will ticket an infant for drooling on the sidewalk.
I have 20% on everything but the windshield. With my wagen I have a full roof of class. On really sunny days in can look very light but on slightly overcast days in starts looking darker. I too have had several variations of tint %, 20% is my favorite.
