Warning: Shoddy Paintwork and Vinyl Wrapping

The purpose of this thread is to warn everyone about the danger of shoddy paint work and vinyl wrapping.

Many of you have seen the thread (http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=819414) I made back in March about wrapping my friend's Jerez Black E92 in 3M's Satin White. Everything went well, no application issues at all. He got tired of it quick and we ended up peeling it off last night.

Back story: My friend got his M3 last year and the dealership agreed to respray his front bumper due to multiple rock chips.

The paint on all the other panels were perfectly fine when peeling off the vinyl but when we got to peeling the vinyl on the front bumper, some paint came off with it. I peeled off my matte blue wrap last week on my own M3 with factory paintwork and all the panels are fine.

So everyone, be extra cautious if you're thinking about wrapping your car when you have had a panel resprayed.
