As for the stroke iirc it can goes up to 85mm. I heard that from a BMW mechanic (I don't recall if it's because of deck height limit or crank room limit). So 4.7 would be the biggest displacement.

Thank you guys. Thats what I thought about the cylinder wall thickness as well. It would be awesome to have a big NA hp car.
