One thing I found out is that the clips seem to need to be pushed the opposite way of what you would think. I expected that you would need to pull the whole clip inward toward the center of the kidneys, but that won't work. There is a little "tab" on each clip that you must push down while simultaneously pushing the grill forward/outward. Look at the clips on your new uninstalled grills (hopefully you have them) and you will see what I mean. My hands were a bit tender after the install...it's tough on your fingers. Good luck.
