Just a data point: I spoke with a SA from Fremont over the phone. He adamantly told me that according to BMW's maintenance schedule, none of their cars would require spark plug change before 100,000 miles. This is probably just an uninformed SA who likes to talk out of his *ss and is not representative of the entire service department. But I figure with so many dealerships around, there is really no reason to take my chance with them.
