Impressive performance numbers for the M3 in the 2009 Lightning Lap (C&D Feb. 2010). Especially Sectors 2 & 3, where the M3 had a better time than many of the other cars that were more expensive and/or more horsepower. I assume the M3 used in the 2009 Lightning Lap had upgraded DCT software compared to the M3 used in the 2008 edition. Makes me wonder how the 6MT would have fared...
In any event - I especially like how it outlapped both the 911 Carrera S and Cayman S, not to mention the GT500 with 540hp!!
