Sorry, but this is incorrect. ESS already told me that the cable needs to be unlocked to code the transmission vs ECU. They attempted to unlock mine 3 times yesterday and were finally "successful" on the 4th to which I got an error message from the program when attempting to communicate with the car. I have had my software since Tuesday and I am still unable to load it.
