Well he ended up going with a fully loaded 1M so not sure what the difference is.
Personally I like my daily driver's being loaded up. At track/autox events I can easily turn them off. If I wanted a light-weight track car I wouldn't have gotten the M3 and I wouldn't get a 1M either.
