whatever you do, you'd better look over the terms in detail and see what it covers. If you can help it, try and get an exclusionary warranty.

Warranty services usually use ambiguous language that makes you think something is covered, where when it comes time to pay, it isn't.

I am with USAA, and looked into their extended warranty program. I didn't go for it, not because I thought it was bad, it wasn't offered for the state of Virginia where I live. So I didn't look at it in detail. So if you ever move to VA, then you might not be covered. This was back in 2010 perhaps things have changed.
