I just bought a 2013 328i and I love it but what it really made me realize is that I STILL want an E36 M3. Even $17k is reasonable considering how fun the car is to drive.
Let me see what I can recite from memory.

Engine:
Rebuilt S50 w/ Supertech valvesprings, otherwise stock (internally)
24lb injectors
VAC oil pan baffle
Welded oil pump nut
AFE cold air intake
Custom built oil catch can
Mishimoto radiator
Bimmerworld radiator hoses
Stewart waterpump
TRM tune (needs a new baseline)

Suspension:
Stock (5k miles) dampers/shocks (upgrading to Motion Control Singles in March)
DGD enclosed RTABS
Bimmerworld Rear Control Arms
AKG RTAB pocket reinforcements
AKG Poly Subframe bushings
AKG Subframe reinforcement kit
UUC Sway bars + endlinks
JT Rear Shock mounts
Treehouse Racing Front Control Arm bushings
Bimmerworld (upgraded) Control Arms
Hawk HT-10 brake pads (F/R)
Vorshlag poly transmission mounts
Vorshlag poly engine mounts
Vorshlag 75mm studs
Stainless steel brake lines

Interior:
Schroth Profi 2 6 point belts
OMP WRC seats (driver's has halo)
Momo type 253 suede wheel
VAC floor mounts
VAC side mounts (driver)/OMP side mount (passenger)
VAC anti-submarine belt mount
Kirk roll-bar
AKG stainless steel pedals
ZHP shift knob (5spd)

Rims:
Stock DS1's w/ 235/40/17 square Dunlop Z1 Starspecs
Apex Arc-8's 17x9 square -- waiting on tires for next season

That's all I can remember at the moment. It can hang with a lot of expensive cars on the track. It'll run 1:43's around Road Atlanta even with stock suspension and a mediocre driver (Intermediate).
