True, but we are going to see a revolutionary change in the types of materials used in the automotive world, and sooner than you think. Carbon nanotube technology holds the promise of ultra low weight coupled with high strength characteristics which will revolutionize the automotive landscape.

These ultra light yet strong materials will allow automakers to use smaller engines along with lighter materials to achieve new standards in performance. In the end, it's all about power to weight, right?
