I think for a ROAD CAR, you reach a point of diminished return. IMHO, I think anywhere between 500-600hp and 400-500lb/ft torque is perfect. Anything more is unusable excess.
But I'm sure as the tire compounds improve and suspension setups continue to improve, I may change my mind in the future. I used to think 400hp was more than enough...
