the best and simplest solution to clean windows:
take a spray bottle and put a little dishwashing detergent in it and fill the rest with water. Spray on your windows and use a sponge. Then rinse with clean water. Just like washing dishes. No fancy car product or window cleaner works as good as dishwashing detergent. It's specifically made to cut grease.
Until I learned this tip I struggled for ever trying to get rid of a film left on my windshield from overspray from a detailing spray, nothing would clean it off.
