I'll agree that its possible, but given my history with USAA and vehicle repairs during the past 20+ years (and always receiving OEM parts) I would find it very difficult to believe USAA/Assurant would not use OEM pieces for any repairs under their policy.

Putting on the rose colored glasses for a moment...maybe this possibility allows USAA/Assurant the option to use Dinan or Turner parts when requested by the policyholder.
