The option isn't there any more, or it doesn't work when you toggle it? Night mode is working on mine and a handful of other cars that I updated.
The update shouldn't have affected night mode as that's part of the software (operating system) in the CIC, and is stored in a completely separate place than the MAP data.
Those of you that need a link to the ISO's let me know.
Edit: I think I know why your night mode isn't working. Click to the right to get to the options screen, make sure that Night Mode is checked, and then un-check the option for "Traffic conditions/grey maps".
That should bring your night mode back again
